Howdy-howdy-hey!

Hey, guys - ex-LJ user here. I'm really glad to find a paper journalling community.

We do the Embodiment challenge that's hosted over at LJ, which is to write in a paper journal every day for a year. Unfortunately, even though we try our best to, we haven't done the 'writing every day' thing. However, we've filled nearly four books and kept it up for nearly ten months now, and it's a record for us (as before we always lost interest). ^^;

Here's some photos! Most of my LJ-friends (who have migrated to DW) will have already seen some of these:

Nice to meet you all :)

the waiting notebook

Earlier this year, I was stuck waiting alone in the CBD for several hours. Things were okay until 5pm, but then all the stores shut and I had to spend an hour and a half in McDonalds. While Borders had been open I'd bought a notebook, as I had nothing else to do. I kept it in my bag, and it's become my waiting book, mostly used at the many doctor appointments I've had in the last few months (how can a doctor be always an hour late by 9.30am? how?).

Additionally, I visited Thailand earlier this year, and bought a whole heap of notebooks (and other stationery items) there. :D

yes, I think 'heap' is a good word )
