Mmm, new journals.

Just started a new journal off, so... some quick pictures of the first page in it.



Before I added any actual text...


... and after. Though I'm still too much of a coward to post it without blurring the words out ;)


Not sure why it came into my head to take a picture of it before writing on the page, really. It's sort of nice to have the picture of it before it was done, though - maybe I'll try taking pictures of the next one at various stages of finished-ness so I can compare them afterwards, or something.

This is nice. Do you never write over the more illustrated parts of your journals?

Not usually - the writing can get a bit lost amongst dark/detailed bits, so I usually try to just leave a blank-ish space to write in (unless it's a page where I'm planning not to handwrite anything at all, obviously).

That's really beautiful! I haven't posted pictures yet because I'm pretty hesitant to post up stuff about my day... I'm mostly text-only, so it wouldn't do much to blur a whole page. So you're not the only one cautious about posting certain entries!
