Okay, so in the spirit of things like the Community Participation Meme and Three Weeks For Dreamwidth, I'm going to try to kickstart this comm a bit. Wondering if people would be interested in things like weekly themes or challenges, or anything like that?
Anyway, here's some pictures from my not-very-artistic journal.

The actual journal. It's sort of tiny, smaller than A5 size I think.

er. I may have been feeling a bit moodswingy that day.

I don't know why, but I really like this page. The text is from chopping up an Ancient Greek textbook, which was kind of cathartic. (I hated learning Greek.)

POINTLESS DOODLING FTW.

Your journal looks so pretty. I really like the second inside pic, too.

And thankyou! <3

Date: 2010-03-23 01:37 am (UTC)I'm mostly a text writer and I don't post pictures or topics very often myself, but I don't object to periodic themes. It would be nice to see some more activity, and maybe themes and other posts will inspire me to be more visually artistic (or something).

Date: 2010-04-06 11:03 am (UTC)I think the third page is... ripped-up magazine pages glued down, then a couple of layers of gouache paint over them? I love gouache. I've been messing around a lot lately with different textures and colour effects - so glad someone liked it!
